How do I choose or change my daily joke?

Open Settings, then Change daily joke, or use Daily setup. Choose one City or Topic and save your changes. This replaces your free daily choice; it does not add another daily joke. You choose manually, without location access. Topic editions depend on availability.

What is Personal Menace?

Personal Menace is an optional subscription for adults 18 and over. It uses the details you choose to share to prepare a private daily roast. Open Personal Menace to set up or manage your material. You can keep using the free City or Topic choice without a subscription.

Do I need to check in every day?

No. Daily check-in is optional. Open Personal Menace, then Daily check-in, to add a little material for your next roast. Saving a new check-in replaces the current one; it does not rewrite today’s roast.

How do daily reminders work?

In Daily setup, turn the free daily reminder on or off, choose a time, and save. Personal reminder controls are in Personal Menace. Free reminders may show the City or Topic joke on your lock screen, depending on your device settings. Personal reminders use generic text, not your private roast. Reminders are optional; you can open the app without them.

Can I save and share jokes?

You can save and share City jokes and revisit Saved jokes from the menu. Topics can be shared, but do not currently have favorites or a past-jokes archive. Personal roasts can also be saved and shared while you have access. Sharing a personal roast asks for confirmation because copies outside the app cannot be recalled.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open Settings, then Subscription, and choose Restore purchases with the store account used for the purchase. Restoring checks billing access; it does not recover another private profile. Use your verified recovery email to recover that profile.

Do I need an account or a recovery email?

The free daily joke does not require an account. Personal Menace starts with a separate guest account. Add and verify an optional email in Settings → Recovery email to recover your private profile and saved personal roasts later. Without a verified recovery email, that private material may not be recoverable after signing out or reinstalling.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Open Settings, then Subscription, and choose Manage subscription to use your billing store’s controls. Pausing Personal Menace or removing its material does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation and billing are managed by the store.

Streak counters and up to seven recent check-in days belong to this installation. They reset on reinstall and are deleted with the installation's data.

Free reminders may show the day's joke in notification previews. Personal reminders use generic text.

Personal Menace sends submitted details to OpenAI for moderation and accepted material for private roast writing. Accepted original wording is stored encrypted. Avoid secrets and other people's private information. Read the privacy notice for processing, removal, and sharing details.
